Liz has worked for the NHS for twenty-nine years in a variety of administrative and managerial roles, at St Crispins and Princess Marina, Northampton General Hospital, Out of Hours services, the Primary Care Trust and for the past six years in general practice at Greenview Surgery in Northampton.
She is passionate about healthcare equality, taking a particular interest in training across all disciplines in general practice as well as looking at shared ways of working across practices to reduce duplication and improve standards.
Liz has been a Director of General Practice Alliance since inception, as she wanted to be part of developing general practice within Northampton and felt her previous roles and experience would be useful assets to the emerging federation. Her end goal would be for practices to have a shared training package and for all disciplines to see general practice as a valuable career path.
Outside of work, Liz enjoys yoga, travel and relaxing with her family.
